The mission of the Harrington Park Public Library is to provide library resources and services to meet the educational, cultural, and recreational needs of the community.  The HP Library provides free, open and equal access to ideas and information and encourages lifelong learning to all members of the community.

HARRINGTON PARK PUBLIC LIBRARY
SMALL TOWN LIBRARY OFFERS LARGE CITY RESOURCES

With passage of a referendum in 1989 establishing the Harrington Park Public Library, hours were lengthened, the collection was enlarged, a professionally trained librarian was hired and the building was expanded to twice the original size. Shortly thereafter, the Library’s collection was computerized and Internet service became available for the staff and public.
Through the HP Library and its membership in the Bergen County Cooperative Library Systems (BCCLS), residents are offered a wide variety of resources and material. You’ll find the HP Library open 49 hours, seven days a week, with the Library Directory, Judy Heldman and her dedicated staff.
