Single-Stream Recycling Program – What Can I Recycle?
The ease and importance of Single stream recycling is the technology that allows all recyclables to be placed into a single container for collection and processing, and are then sold as raw materials to create new items such as newspaper, office paper, cardboard, plastic bottles, even steel and aluminum cans.This allows our customers to place all clean recyclable items in one container, without the need to separate plastic from paper from cardboard, and so on.
IWS will pick up these commingled recyclables and process them at their recycling facility.
PLEASE make sure you DO NOT include any food waste or residual food waste with acceptable recycled items!
